Welcome to Harpersville, Alabama. Our Slogan is “Rich Past – Bright Future” and we hope that you will be a part of this future. Harpersville is located along Hwy 280 and Hwy 231 in Shelby County, Alabama’s fastest growing county. We are also situated along the Coosa River. We have full-time police and fire departments and an award winning water system. We offer all the conveniences of suburban life with a family atmosphere.

Morgan Creek Vineyards and Winery, one of the South’s finest and most reputable winemakers, the festivals at Old Baker Farm, Stone Hollow Farm, Harpersville Day, Wallace-Klein House and Harpersville Historic Tours bring thousands of visitors to town each year. The Beautiful  Meadows Golf Course is now open. We are less than 10 miles from Lake Logan Martin and are at the crossroads to Lay Lake and Lake Martin. At J.W. Donahoo Park there are two walking tracks, a baseball field, a soccer field, tennis courts, playgrounds and pavilions. We have an incredible Community and Senior Center. We are truly the Crossroads to family fun.

Harpersville is pro-business and endeavors to maintain a business friendly environment. Our motto for business is “Every Business Counts.”  Budweiser of Central Alabama is located here along with Morris Shea Bridge Company and many other businesses. Sewer is available and we have streamlined a smooth and unencumbering process for building permits and inspections. Please come for a visit – you will want to stay.
